JATSO Policy Committee MeetingA policy committee meeting was held on Thursday, September 9 at 1:30p.m. to review the "Draft Copy of the 2010 Long-Range Transportation Plan". Long Range Transportation Begins...On June 8th, the Joplin Area Transportation Study Organization (JATSO) officially began the Long Range Transportation Plan update process. Please check back for current updates, information on pending meetings, and news on how you can get involved.
Public Input and Stakeholder input Needed!! On July 14th, 2010, JATSO will be sponsoring a "Public Input Open House". The event will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Joplin's City Hall, located at 602 S. Main Street, so come out and join us.
In addition to this, on July 13th and 14th, we will be conducting "Stakeholder Input Meetings" with Municipal Leaders, Staff & Representatives; Freight Haulers; Transit Providers and Bicycle Interest Groups; Emergency Responders and Social Service Agencies; Educational Institutions; and Commercial/Employment/TIF Districts groups to discuss their issues, opinions, and ideas in relation to multi-modal transportation. The results of these meetings will be posted when available.
